The region of Singida produce high Quality of  organic cotton without
applying chemical Pesticides and fertilisers. The main challenge of biosustain is to
support organic farming and bring farmers together to create an
infrastructure for the production of organic farming methods to enable the organic certification.

To enable organic certification in the area and to provide market of organic
certified products for which the farmers' gain up to 15 % more
cash for their income. 3.500 Farmers family are under contract.

the implementation strategy
Our primary goal is to achieve the best possible product quality from
controlled organic farming.

In order to achieve this goal, our experienced quality assurance team
carry out continuous, intensive product checks. In addition, our products
are analytically tested externally by recognised laboratories.

These are the most important elements of biosustain quality:

consultation

  • For the technical consultation, conversion and crop rotation
    methods is our agricultural engineer active and visit the farmers
    regularly
  • Organic premium
  • Quality-dependent organic premium from 7 - 15% on the raw
    commodity
